New books

I've started co-writing a book with my friend called Frozen. It's actually a great book. I have also started a new book called Dreamcatcher about a seventeen-year-old girl being raped by her 18 year old step-brother, and then the literal trials she goes through to see if he will go to jail. Eventually she'll end up falling in love with someone, but that's top secret. Anyway, just thought I'd send an update out for the invisible followers and people who don't follow me. :) Thanks.

Welcome!

I know I have made so many different blogs. I hope to keep you updated on this one, though. It doesn't have my real name in it, that's why I couldn't use my last blog. I do have a website though, so be sure to check it out. Although, it is only for my Hidden series, so this blog is for that, and my other books.

Well, if you're not quite sure who I am, I'm Ashley Cordell, Ash for short. I have been a writer for almost a year and a half. Sometimes I'm passionate, sometimes I'm not. But I've learned that you have to be in the mood to write or else you aren't good at it. I sometimes can be phylisophical and sometimes I can even think of great quotes. I write my journal like it's a book (sort of like Anne Frank). I hate stalkers, because they're weird, so don't stalk me. I love being called Ash, not Ashley. My favorite actor is Alexander Ludwig, and my favorite actress is probably Helena Bohnam Carter. I love music, and if you know me, you know that I've played piano for ten years. I am in love with it. Music, also, comes naturally, like second nature. I can't write songs. Although I play them, and write books, I can't put the two together. I am a tomboy for the most part, except for romance and shopping. I think shopping should be an olympic sports--that's officially how I excersise. I love guys with blond hair and blue eyes, who are tall and who can love me for who I am (and who are Candian). My life theme song is "Who I Am" by Nick Jonas and the Administration. I love Justin Bieber, even though he does sound like a girl.

Well, those are random facts about me. Let's look at some of my writing, eh? I have written at least five books, though only finished the first draft of one. I am doing my best to get them published and am so close to having an agent that I can almost taste it. I have awesome connections that are going to be great when I do have an agent. Let's name some books off. My first and foremost book (that I am now writing the second draft of) is the first book in my Hidden series, entitled The Hidden Crimson Letters. I have started working on the second entry and it is named The Hidden Identity. To see what it's about, travel to my website. (In google, search for The Hidden Crimson Letters, and it is the second link. The first on is my book on a website called Inkpop). I have written another book sort of like my journal, but that one failed. It was entitled Just Try and Understand, Okay? Although, I don't let many people read my journal--none actually--so I will not be giving you the name of my newest. I have also started writing a novel called The True Wings of an Angel. That book is probably my favorite. I have a different and more likable writing style in this novel. It is about a wingless angel trying to find love in the middle of New York. Although, he doesn't know why he's on earth. Yaddah, yaddah, yaddah. You can contact me about that one. I have also begun another book called My Suicidal Friday. It's about a paranormal boy falling in love with a lost girl....again contact me for more. I am also writing a book for my friend, although no one gets to read that except for her, so I won't give you the name.

My writing style tends to stick to paranormal romance. I haven't changed that style for a while. That's sorta what's "in" right now.

Well you know my name, writing style, and book names. Anything else? Contact me! I hope to keep this an updated webpage! Please feel free to tell your friends and family about me, and I'm sure I would be willing to give you a link so you can take a look at some of my works! I hope that I get some feedback!

Thank you so much!

Sincerley,
Ash Cordell
